  4. Add the rosemary. Stir and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Add 3 cups of vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer. 
  6. Cook for 20-30 minutes until the squash is tender.
  7. Let cool slightly.
  8. Pour the soup into a blender, working in batches if necessary.
  9. Blend until smooth.

Larry The Cable Guy Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 12 oz can of beer
  • 3 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 box Larry the Cable Guy Beer Bread mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Grease a 8″ x 4″ x 2″ loaf pan
  3. Mix beer and bread mix in a bowl until well blended. Be careful not to over-mix.
  4. Pour batter into a greased pan.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until cooked, and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes and serve warm.

Crockpot Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ cup half and half
  • ½ cup frozen peas

  1. Add melted butter to the crock pot.
  2. Add onions, celery, and carrots and toss to coat with the melted butter.
  3. Add garlic and cooked chicken.
  4. Add flour over the veggies.
  5. Pour chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, and sprinkle spices over the top.
  6. Heat on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
  7. Stir in half and a half and frozen peas for the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Biscuits Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Add 1 ¾ cup baking mix and ½ cup of milk to a mixing bowl and mix together until it becomes a soft dough.
  3. Lightly coat a surface with more of the baking mix.
  4. Fold/knead biscuit dough 3-4 times, careful not to over-knead. Cut dough with 2 ½” floured biscuit cutters and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Final Instructions:

  • Add the biscuits to the top of the filling in the crockpot, or slice each biscuit in half and spoon pot pie filling over the bottom biscuit and top it with the other biscuit.

  4. Press dough firmly with floured fingers in an ungreased pie plate.

  3. Place apple slices in the bottom of an ungreased 8″ square pan
  4. Sprinkle the crisp mix evenly over the apples
  5. Bake 20-30 minutes until fruit is tender and the topping is golden brown

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Loretta Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 1 bag of frozen cherries

Instructions

  1. Pour the bag of frozen cherries onto the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the Notta Lotta Sugar Yellow Cake mix over the cherries.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the yellow cake mix.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
